A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us at Selleys, one of Australia’s leading brands in the manufacturing of consumer adhesives, sealants and decorator products.

Reporting to the Selleys Engineering Manager, the core purpose as a Mechanical Plant Engineer will be to provide maintenance and engineering services to the Selleys manufacturing plant. In particular, this position will be responsible for the management of the maintenance team as well as providing engineering solutions to maintenance issues (i.e. redesign). Furthermore, the role will involve contributing to minor projects related to increasing production efficiency, improving safety, product quality and facilitating the introduction of new products.

To be the successful applicant, you will ideally have a solid background in maintenance management and engineering. Previous experience in people management, the development of maintenance policies as well as strong technical skills across multiple disciplines will see you hit the ground running in this fulfilling role. Degree qualifications in a related discipline as well as exposure to best practice policies (i.e. 5S, lean manufacturing) will also be highly regarded.
