True Generalist Role

Selleys and Yates are both premium businesses and market leaders within their respective fields. Operating across 4 countries and employing approximately 450 staff they participate in a retail market characterised by a diverse customer group ranging from large corporate accounts to small independent single stores.
Reporting to the HR Manager Selleys Yates, this truly generalist role will see you manage key HR activities across Selleys and Yates. The role is responsible for the successful delivery of key initiatives for the organisation and providing expert advice and support in relation to operational employee relations matters. You will have direct involvement in EBA negotiations for our manufacturing and distribution sites as well as driving our talent management processes, recruitment, performance management, training, remuneration and benefits and general people related issues. The broadness of the issues is challenging and the role will see you involved in most aspects of HR work.
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate results driven outcomes in IR activities. You will be tertiary qualified and will have a successful track record in delivering key people initiatives, and demonstrate your ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation. You must be able to demonstrate the capacity to influence, negotiate and achieve business outcomes within a generalist HR context, and have a sound understanding of employment law.
